Lagoonies
The popular Lagoonies Club at the Iris Griffith Centre will be taking a break this summer and will return at a later date. We appreciate our summer Uni and young participants who have made this program a great success.
It is always a pleasure to help nurture nature in a child's life.
Lagoonies Club has grown to be one of the most memorable summer activities for children on the coast and we don't want to disappoint any child. So our compromise is for grown ups to visit WITH their Lagoonie.
Children are welcome to visit, WITH AN ACCOMPANYING ADULT, to enjoy pond dipping at the Iris Griffith Centre using our nets and buckets. Please do visit the wetlab downstairs and enjoy the popular aquaria and microscope station.
We request an adult (parents or grandparents) accompany children to get the most out of this great learning opportunity. Please check in with the centre host upon arrival and we will make sure you have the tools necessary for a good visit. Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy making family memories at the Iris Griffith Nature Reserve.
The Lagoon Society will be offering two weeks of fun-filled summer daycamp.

With themes from Marine Mania to Marsh Monsters, there is something fun and new to learn every day! Pack a lunch, come dressed for the weather, and come play!
We've held over 100 Lagoonies Day Camps!
